Stuff I Block On Facebook

My Facebook page is treated like an oasis. It doesn't have to be fair. It just has to sooth like a gentle breeze. Rarely do I unfriend somebody. I make them unfriend me. My trick is to engage in a nasty wall conversation that enrages them until they unfriend me. Friend's feeds get blocked if content disrupts my oasis. Here's what will get people blocked:
  • All caps status updates. I don't care if you're quoting Ghandi in all caps, you are dead to me.
  • Political content I don't agree with. Like I said, my page is not fair.
  • Updates skewed by traumatic experience.
  • Updates skewed by traumatic romantic experience
  • Updates skewed by lack of romance.
  • Updates skewed by lack of life.
  • Posts that reveal you are basically a dick.
  • Post that are reminders of an event every day. I like being reminded. Just not every effing day for a month.
  • Friending me and telling me within minutes what not to post. I know. I can't leave it alone.
Friending suggestions or requests for responses requiring an app are also ignored. Apps are a trojan horse for data mining. People who are real life friends can post whatever they want.

Facebook should be an oasis for all.

Which is why I am sure most of my friends have already blocked me.
