I'm big in China

As you can imagine, people are always waiting for Yangblog to slip up. They are in deep dark places waiting to come into the light and dance on my grave because they resent the Yangblog lifestyle. They resent the jetsetting. They resent the endless amounts of Beard Papa cream puffs Yangblog can consume. They resent how my giant head has a "slimming" effect when placed on top of my body.

Everybody who was waiting for my doom is going to have to wait longer. Computer Arts Magazine in China has done an interview with Yangblog! That's right. China. Have you heard of it?

Here's the article for your viewing pleasure. I said "viewing" because it is in Chinese. If you can read Chinese and are in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and probably Japan, you can pick up the magazine.

From what I understand, the magazine is not available in the United States because there is a small matter of a TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT the U.S needs to clear up with China. The article with Yangblog was considered "too valuable" to simply give away.

Enjoy. (you may click on the image for a larger view)

Has Abby read it to see if they put words in your mouth?

I am a student and I bought the issue last month, I visited here as soon as I read the article. Looking forward to your latest works.

Hey G, funny you should mention the translating.

Abby did check it out and said there was one part where it seems like I'm joking, but it came out strange and weird.

I don't know if my joke bombed because it was poorly translated, or if it bombed because it was perfectly translated.

Don't worry. Although the translation make it not so smoothly to read, but I don't think there are not anything improper, I got the paragraph about joking, and in Chinese it is not strange or weird.

I can get that you are a humourous man and enjoy your life, so people could always find some interesting element in your works. I think other Chinese reader would respect you, I also quoted part of your words in my blog(http://witmin.cn/2009/03/computerarts-magazine-mar-2009/), maybe it means "try your best to make illustration, you will find your own voice and direction" in English.

The interview is also recommended on the back cover.

I thought you were considered big in China because you were taller than everyone else.
