Run Yangblog! Steve Jobs is Behind You!

Now that I am back and partly lucid, we can discuss the recent news that clearly has been on everybody's mind. Of course I am talking about the iPhone. As you can imagine, this news has me worried. No, I'm not worried about how the iPhone just wrecked the plans of EVERY cell phone maker on the planet and could be the "killer app" many companies fear. My concern is more immediate.

Word on the street says Apple is developing an iYang.

This is very, very bad news. If Apple follows form, we know how iYang will compare to ME:

1) Apple will redesign me from the ground up. iYang will be more elegant and better looking than the current "lame and clumsy" version.

2) It will be better thought out.

3) The interface will work better. No more annoying irritations that have bothered people for a long time.

4) Everybody will HATE what they have now and get the new version AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

5) The battery will not be replaceable.

I'm not sure what the last point means either. The main point is I AM DOOMED. Clients, family, friends and Abby will be counting the days until iYang is available. They won't say anything to me, but once they have a choice, I'm gone. Actually, this is not true of Abby. It is not because she is a loyal and devoted wife. It is because she loves a bargain. She will wait until the price on iYang is right.

Yangblog is not going to wait for the bus to run over him.

If you will excuse me, I have to go find Steve Job's address. Maybe if I send him a box of chocolates, he will call this whole thing off.

For the record, I CAN'T WAIT for the iYang to come out. It's going to be soooo good, particularly when compared to the Yang 1.0. That version was decidedly mediocre.

Um, no offense.
